dried apricots
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c
rasins - golden seedless
apples, granny smith
orange rind grated
lemon rind grated
1/2 c
ginger, crystallized, chopped
1/2 tsp
pepper flakes, dried, restaurant type
1 c
2 bag(s)
cranberries, 12 oz bag each

How to Make Cranberry Fruit Relish


  • 1With a pair of scissors, cut the apricots and ginger in very small slivers and reserve
  • 2Peel, core, and dice apples.
  • 3Place rasins, apples, apricots, brown sugar, cranberries, and water into a large sauce pan and simmer till cranberries are tender
  • 4Then add the lemon rind, orange rind, ginger and pepper flakes to the hot mixture and cool.
  • 5This will keep well in refrigerator for a week and freezes very well in freezer containers. Try adding some on apple pie or apple dessert.
