carrie's special dove
I came up with this recipe when I was give the dove from the hunt because my mother was tired of them being in the freezer.

Ingredients
- - dove
- - butter
- - garlic salt
- 1 small onion, sliced in rounds
- - water
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 6 tablespoons barbecue sauce
How To Make carrie's special dove

Step 1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Tear pieces of foil for every 2 dove. Place 2 dove in center of foil. Put a butter pat on top of each dove and sprinkle with garlic salt. Place an onion round on each dove.

Step 2Seal the dove in tight little packages. Place the packages on a rack in a pan. Fill the bottom of the pan with 1 inch of water mixed with vinegar and barbecue sauce.

Step 3Cover and seal the whole pan with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
