  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    cabernet sauvignon
  • 1 1/2 c
    beef broth
  • 1 pkg
    knorr's homestyle concentrated beef stock
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    browning sauce like gravy master

How to Make Cabernet Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat butter in skillet and add flour to make a roux and cook 1 minute.
  2. Add the cabernet, beef broth, and beef stock. Let simmer and reduce by half stirring occassionally
  3. Add heavy cream and butter whisking constantly.
    Stir in browning sauce.
    Serve over meat
