This sauce is great on any cut of beef. Rich and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3/4 cup cabernet sauvignon
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 package knorr's homestyle concentrated beef stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon browning sauce like gravy master

How To Make cabernet sauce

  • Step 1
    Heat butter in skillet and add flour to make a roux and cook 1 minute.
  • Step 2
    Add the cabernet, beef broth, and beef stock. Let simmer and reduce by half stirring occassionally
  • Step 3
    Add heavy cream and butter whisking constantly. Stir in browning sauce. Serve over meat
