This batter is good for frying and some will usually be left over. Put in some cornmeal, baking powder and finely chopped onion and drop by teaspoon in hot oil- make good hushpuppies. Since you will cook hushpuppies well, there is no worry about the raw meat that was dipped. Just cook hushpuppies well.
