This is a sweet and tangy marinade or basting sauce that goes well with just about everything.

  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 Tbsp
    grape jelly
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    salad dressing (miracle whip)
  • 1 tsp
    maple syrup

How to Make Chicken (or Pork) Marinade


  1. bring to a boil over medium heat in a small sauce pan.
  2. remove from heat and let cool
  3. marinate or baste chicken (or pork)
  4. cook meat as usual and serve hot
