This is a sweet and tangy marinade or basting sauce that goes well with just about everything.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon grape jelly
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon salad dressing (miracle whip)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

How To Make chicken (or pork) marinade

  • Step 1
    bring to a boil over medium heat in a small sauce pan.
  • Step 2
    remove from heat and let cool
  • Step 3
    marinate or baste chicken (or pork)
  • Step 4
    cook meat as usual and serve hot
