I came up with this recipe because we love meatballs, meatloaf…any meat grind and ground. This I use for Swedish noodles with meatballs

How to Make My Swedish gravy


  1. Make you rue melted butter and flour. Set aside
  2. Take your drippings add milk make it equal 1 cup. 3/4 is ok
  3. Add drippings and rue mix together.
  4. Reheat gently -- low/ med low heat stir slow and constant
  5. Add mushrooms and onions
  6. Make it special:
    Add onion soup mix
    Add Worcester sauce
    Add brown sugar
    Add honey
    Add italian dressing
  7. Shortcuts -quickies-21st kitchen magic
    Use canned bouillon stock broth
    Use bacon drippings
    Use dill , nutmeg
    Use canned CREAM soup
    Use cream
    GRAVY mixes ( any prepared gravy , jarred, canned, deli....)
    Use sour cream
