my swedish gravy

I came up with this recipe because we love meatballs, meatloaf…any meat grind and ground. This I use for Swedish noodles with meatballs

cook time 10 Min
method Stove Top
yield 3 cups

Ingredients

  • - drippings from frying meatballs --as much as you can but all if you can
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk or cream

How To Make my swedish gravy

  • Step 1
    Make you rue melted butter and flour. Set aside
  • Step 2
    Take your drippings add milk make it equal 1 cup. 3/4 is ok
  • Step 3
    Add drippings and rue mix together.
  • Step 4
    Reheat gently -- low/ med low heat stir slow and constant
  • Step 5
    Add mushrooms and onions
  • Step 6
    Make it special: Add onion soup mix Add Worcester sauce Add brown sugar Add honey Add italian dressing
