miscuits & gravy
I call these "miscuits" because as you can see I use a muffin pan to bake a true "cathead" size biscuit. Very simple and it's my wife's favorite breakfast dish.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose baking mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- GRAVY
- 2 cups water, divided
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon bacon fat
- - fresh ground peppercorns
How To Make miscuits & gravy

Step 1Spray muffin cups with butter flavored cooking spray.

Step 2Mix baking mix & buttermilk in large bowl, add about 1/2 of the muffin cup with biscuit dough.

Step 3Bake 12 minutes @ 450 degrees.

Step 4For the gravy, boil 1 cup of the water and bacon fat in a medium size sauce pot.

Step 5Wisk flour and other cup of water in a bowl, add to boiling water and grease.

Step 6Brink back to a boil, lower heat to low constantly whisking the mixture, add ground pepper.
