I call these "miscuits" because as you can see I use a muffin pan to bake a true "cathead" size biscuit. Very simple and it's my wife's favorite breakfast dish.

Ingredients For miscuits & gravy
2 1/4 c
all purpose baking mix
all purpose flour
fresh ground peppercorns
How To Make miscuits & gravy
Spray muffin cups with butter flavored cooking spray.
Mix baking mix & buttermilk in large bowl, add about 1/2 of the muffin cup with biscuit dough.
Bake 12 minutes @ 450 degrees.
For the gravy, boil 1 cup of the water and bacon fat in a medium size sauce pot.
Wisk flour and other cup of water in a bowl, add to boiling water and grease.
Brink back to a boil, lower heat to low constantly whisking the mixture, add ground pepper.
