another giblet gravy
Always looking for another giblet gravy. This is something that my mother never made, but something my son Shannon loves. Trying to find a recipe that is special for him.

How To Make another giblet gravy
-
Step 1Whisk flour and chicken broth in a saucepan. Then add gizzards and chopped eggs.
-
Step 2Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens until your liking. Pour your gravy into a sauce bowl and serve over your favorite corn bread dressing.
-
Step 3Boiling chicken gizzards: Cover gizzards in a pot of water and bring to a rolling boil. Cover with lid; reduce heat to low and slow cook the gizzards for about 1-1/2 hours until they are tender. It is important that you let the gizzards cool before chopping them.
