Always looking for another giblet gravy. This is something that my mother never made, but something my son Shannon loves. Trying to find a recipe that is special for him.

prep time 20 Min
cook time 50 Min
method Stove Top
yield 8 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup cooked gizzards, finely chopped
  • 1 - hard boiled egg, chopped

How To Make another giblet gravy

  • Step 1
Whisk flour and chicken broth in a saucepan. Then add gizzards and chopped eggs.
  • Step 2
Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens until your liking. Pour your gravy into a sauce bowl and serve over your favorite corn bread dressing.
  • Step 3
Boiling chicken gizzards: Cover gizzards in a pot of water and bring to a rolling boil. Cover with lid; reduce heat to low and slow cook the gizzards for about 1-1/2 hours until they are tender. It is important that you let the gizzards cool before chopping them.
