This sauce is simple and delicious. Very good drizzled over coffee cakes or as an icing for cupcakes. (then decorate). All kinds of uses. Just generally a nice sweet sauce recipe to have on hand.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 1/2 teaspoons corn starch
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh or concentrate
How To Make lemon sauce

Step 1In a sauce pan combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon peel

Step 2Whisk in water gradually until blended and thickened. This takes about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 3Stir in butter and lemon juice. Use warm or cool.
