I've used this delicious sauce on things from ribs to meatballs. It's so easy to make as well...if you like spicier, add some red pepper flakes or Shiracha sauce.

  • 3/4 c
    seedless blackberry jam - or i have used blackberry jelly
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    hot sauce, shiracha sauce or red pepper flakes - optional
  • 1 tsp
    fresh minced ginger or ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Blackberry BBQ Sauce


  1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil; stirring continually as the sauce boils for 2 - 3 minutes or until brown sugar has dissolved. It will thicken more as it sits.

    This sauce is great on meatballs, ribs and chicken....Enjoy!
