balsamic strawberry sauce

This is so good over pound cake or if you cook it longer it is almost like a jam and can use it on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I like making a bunch up when strawberries are in season and canned them for later. Just water process for 15 minutes and they seal up nice.

Ingredients For balsamic strawberry sauce

  • 2 c
    fresh strawberries hulled and chopped
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar

How To Make balsamic strawberry sauce

  • 1
    mix all together and cook on med high heat stirring and smashing to bust up strawberries. For sauce cook 10 minutes for more of a jam cook 2 minutes.
