tarragon vinaigrette salad dressing

This is a variation of the salad dressing my Mom made and it's always been my favorite. Mom never measured her ingredients but this version comes really close to her dressing.

Ingredients For tarragon vinaigrette salad dressing

  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    tarragon vinegar (i add additional 1or 2 tablespoon)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar (i add additional 1/8 cup)
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make tarragon vinaigrette salad dressing

    Combine all ingredients, mix very well.

    Pour into a bottle with a secure lid. Chill. Shake well before using.

    I use a washed out commercial salad dressing bottle to store and serve the dressing. Vary the amount of sugar and vinegar to your own taste.
