I found this recipe on the internet, but can't remember exactly where. Not too garlicky, but you know it is in there! This dressing is kind of like the creamy garlic salad dressing we used to get at the Tomato Street restaurant in Coeur d'Alene, ID.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    mayonnaise, best foods is what we use
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    fresh, chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried chives
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • dash(es)
    black pepper

How to Make Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight to let flavors develop.
  2. You can add grated parmesan cheese if desired, but it will be "gritty" unless you use a blender.
