I love slaw. My family loves slaw. I have, at minimum, eight different variations that are all favorites at my house. This one is a twist on a recipe used at a local BBQ place we enjoy. Hope you enjoy it, too.

1 16-oz pkg
coleslaw mix
1/2 c
1/4 c
white vinegar
1 c
half and half
1 c
2 Tbsp
horseradish sauce
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
to taste
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp
onion flakes (or 1/4 c. finely diced, fresh)

How to Make Beth's Sweet and Tangy Coleslaw


  • 1Combine vinegar and half and half in large jar. Allow to sit 10 minutes.
  • 2Add all other ingredients except coke slaw mix to jar. Shake until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
  • 3Pour chilled dressing over slaw mix and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight. Stir well before serving.
