This little bit of applesauce makes a wonderful coleslaw dressing.

Ingredients

1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/3 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon mustard optional
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 package coleslaw mix (or shredded cabbage)

How To Make applesauce coleslaw dressing

Step 1

If you still have at least a half cup of applesauce left in the jar, you can use the jar for this dressing.

Step 2

Add all other ingredients to the 1/2 cup of applesauce into the jar. place lid on jar and shake well.
Step 3

Toss with shredded cabbage or packaged coleslaw mix. Refrigerate overnight so the coleslaw will absorb all the flavors of the dressing.
