sweet chile sauce
This is great as a dip or to use in recipes that call for a little heat with some sweet. I use it for deep fried shrimp so good.

Ingredients
- 1 pound sweet chiles seeded and chopped
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
How To Make sweet chile sauce

Step 1Place chiles onions and garlic in food processor. Process while drizzling in oil. Place over low heat and cook 45 minutes stirring frequently.

Step 2Dissolve tamarind in hot water. Add to sauce with brown sugar and fish sauce. Cook another 30 minutes. Strain oil and let cool. Store in fridge or waterbath for 15 minutes to seal if wanting to can.
