spring hill ranch's hot dip to die for
One of our Texas friends gave us a dip recipe a couple years ago. Not being able to let well enough alone, of course, we had to add, subtract and adjust things a little. This version made its debut at the canyon's Independence Day shindig and people used it as a spread on crackers, a dip for vegetables, even on cold cut sandwiches! Nearly everyone asked for the recipe, including the person that gave us the original! Leftovers keep well in the 'fridge and you can re-heat it in the micro-zapper.

Step 2When you are ready to serve it, microwave the dip for 5 minutes. Serve as a spread for crackers or toast points or as a dip for chips, crackers or vegetables. Refrigerate any leftovers and reheat to use again.
