I'm sorry as I don't know who the creator is of this magnificent dip is but for goodness sakes you must try it if you haven't already! If you like really spicy hot, you can use just the hot sausage only, our family prefers it "alittle" milder so I mix hot and reg. If you want to cut the recipe in half, I still use half hot and half reg. really its a preference. I have only 2 boys at home now, myself and my husband and 1/2 batch gets us through one setting, its nice to make a double batch to have the next day or through the weekend as a nice munchy.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag tostitoe scoops
  • 1 tube jimmy dean hot sausage
  • 1 tube jimmy dean regular sausage
  • 2 packages philadelphia cream cheese
  • 2 cans ro-tel with green chilis

How To Make spicy sausage dip

  • Step 1
You can cook this on the stove or slow cooker. And by experience...1 bag of scoops is NOT enough :) If you use a slow cooker, cook the sausage before you put in in the cooker, turn on high till all ingredients are mixed (stirring occasionally till well blended) then set on low till your ready to eat.
  • Step 2
    Cook sausage completely and drain.
  • Step 3
Pour both cans of Ro-tel tomatoes with green chilis in cooked sausage. Do NOT drain.
  • Step 4
Mix both package's of cream cheese in with the sausage and Ro-Tel.
  • Step 5
    Serve with Tostitoes Scoops
