5 largetomatoes, chopped
1 qttomato juice
3 largesweet onions, chopped
8-10 mediumjalapeno peppers, fresh, chopped
1/8 tspgarlic powder
3/4 ccider vinegar
1 largegreen bell pepper, finely chopped
How to Make Padre Picante' sauce
- Once thickened, allow to cool. put in to pint jars and refrigerate. makes 5 - 6 pints.
- Adjust how spicy by the number of jalapeno peppers and how many pepper seeds. (i seed about half the peppers). Can add more chopped onions for chunky sauce.
