There are multiple versions of this recipe out there, and my brother-in-law just uses the Rotel and cheese and calls it good. We like this recipe with sausage rather than ground beef. The cream cheese adds flavor and creamy texture.

Ingredients
- 1 package (32 oz) velveeta cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 can rotel tomatoes and chillies
- 1 can craam of mushroom soup
- 1 pound ground beef (or sausage or combination)
- 1 - green onion
How To Make greatest queso that ever lived

Step 1Brown beef (or sausage) in pan over medium heat and drain. Set aside.

Step 2Cut the Velveeta and cream cheese into cubes and place into a crock pot. Pour in the Rotel and the soup and stir ingredients together. Place the crock pot on low setting for an hour, letting the ingredients meld.

Step 3After about 30 minutes, add the browned meat and continue to let cook, stirring as needed.

Step 4Keep warm and serve with tortilla chips or crackers of choice.
