cheesy chili dip

I saw this on Facebook and gave it a try. it's really good, kind of addicting too. It's great for any kind of gathering too, especially Superbowl Sunday or game day. And it is so quick and easy to make, which gives you more time to enjoy the party. As many times as I've made this, I never thought to see how many it serves, so servings is a very rough guess.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 15 ounces can beanless chili
  • 8 ounces grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 - bag frito corn chips - the large chips for dipping are best

How To Make cheesy chili dip

  • Step 1
    Spread softened cream cheese in an even layer in the bottom of a 8- or 9-inch glass pie plate.
  • Step 2
    Spread the chili over the cream cheese layer.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle the grated cheddar on top, completely covering the chili layer. Microwave on High heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Step 4
    Serve with corn chips (like the "scoop" type or large size Fritos).
