Ingredients

  • 2 pounds tomatillos husks removed and rinsed
  • 1 medium onion cut into wedges
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 3 medium jalapeno seeded and halved
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro

How To Make tomatillo salsa

  • Step 1
    line a baking sheet with foil. Set broiler to high. Place the tomatillos, onions, garlic, and jalapenos on foil. Drizzle with olive oil and add salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Broil until charred and soft. Add everything to a food processor. Add the cilantro and process until well incorporated.
  • Step 3
    taste and adjust for salt.
