Ingredients
- 1/2 small honeydew melon, seeded
- 1/2 small cantaloupe, seeded
- 1/3 large jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 15 ounces jar salsa
- 1 large bag totrtilla chips (scoops work well)
How To Make texas summer salsa

Step 1Finely chop the honeydew and cantaloupe. Place chopped fruit in a colander for 30 minutes to allow all excess liquid to drain.

Step 2Add the chopped jalapeño and cilantro to the fruit, and stir until well combined.

Step 3Mix salsa and lime juice together in a bowl. Add the fresh fruit mixture, and mix well with wooden spoon. Transfer to festive serving bowl if desired, and chill until ready to serve.

Step 4When ready to serve, place salsa bowl in center of a large serving platter, and arrange tortilla chips around the salsa bowl.
