Ingredients
- 4 large ripe tomatoes
- 2 - green chili peppers, seeded, and finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- 1/4 teaspoon each paprika and chili powder
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon tomato puree
- - salt to taste
- 1/4 bunch parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon sumac
How To Make spicy tomato and pepper dip

Step 1Chop peeled tomatoes, onion, garlic and parsley very finely -- may pulse in a food processor or chop by hand. Remove seeds and membrane from chilies and chop very finely until they become a textured paste.

Step 2Add the olive oil, lemon juice, and pomegranate molasses - mix well. Add in the pepper paste and mix until smooth.

Step 3Add this mixture into the salad ingredients. Add salt and remaining spices, including mint, and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour - then serve.
