Ingredients
- 10 - tomatillos husked and rinsed
- 8 - serrano chilis sliced
- 1 - onion cut in half
- 1 tablespoon garlic chopped
- 2 tablespoons salt
How To Make salsa verde (green hot sauce)

Step 1Place tomatillos,chilis, onion, and garlic in big pot (I use my old spaghetti pot) add water just to cover. Sprinkle salt over the top. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to med-low and cook until tomatillos are soft and have turned slightly brownish in color 20-30 minutes. Add water if needed to keep from burning as it cooks.Drain the liquid off the vegetables and mix in a blender until smooth
