  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 - cloves minced fresh garlic
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 4 - jalapenos, minced
  • 2 cups tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup beer

How To Make salsa borracho for enchiladas

  • Step 1
    In non-aluminum pan, melt the butter over medium low heat.
  • Step 2
    Add the garlic, chili powder and jalapenos.
  • Step 3
    Saute until the chili powder begins to foam, then add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Step 4
    Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Yield: approximately 3 cups.
