I had two different recipes from two different people. By tweaking, trial and error, I blended the two into one. This makes a large bowl of salsa. Good with chips or fish or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - seedless watermelon, diced
  • 3 - nectarines, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 - red onion, diced fine
  • 1 - yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 - orange bell pepper, diced
  • 6 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 - jalapenos, fresh, seeded and diced fine
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, fresh, stems removed and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 - lime, juiced

How To Make ree-elle watermelon salsa

  • Step 1
    Throw all the ingredients into a large bowl and toss it all together. Taste as you go, adjusting to your taste.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let flavors meld. Can be refrigerated overnight.
  • Step 3
    Toss one more time before serving. Serve with chips, or on top of grilled fish or grilled chicken.
