When we are at the cottage the men like to BBQ the gals do not mind we just have to make a salad so we get a break from cooking every day..this recipe great to have on hand as the recipe makes enough sauce for 5 pounds ribs, a dozen chicken legs and about 20 hamburgers and keeps well for 2 to 3 weeks refrigerated.

Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon heaping of hot horseradish
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 - large onion {finely diced}
- 3 - large cloves garlic }fine minced}
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
How To Make mop sauce

Step 1Saute onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of oil until tender..add remaining ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes or until sauce begins ti thicken.

Step 2Cool and refrigerate in closed container..warm the sauce when ready to use,,will keep for 2 to 3 weeks in refrigerator.
