Ingredients

2 Tbsp
red onion, finely minced
2 c
boiling water
1
mango, firm
1 Tbsp
lime juice
1 clove
garlic
1/2 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
cilantro, fresh, minced
1 Tbsp
Cayenne pepper

How to Make Mango Salsa

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place the minced onion in a small strainer in the sink and pour the boiling water over it. This will take some of the bite out of the onion and turn it a striking shade of purple-pink.
  • 2Combine all ingredients and mix gently. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 2 hours or more to allow flavors to blend.
