Ingredients

  • 2 large green bell peppers, diced
  • 2 large red bell peppers, diced
  • 2 medium jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 1 medium celery stalk, diced
  • 1 medium carrot, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • water
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 - 5 oz jars olives with pimiento, chopped
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup olive oil, extra-virgin

How To Make italian salsa

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix veggies & salt. Fill with enough water to cover. Wrap & refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 2
    Drain & rinse veggies.
  • Step 3
    In another large bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Combine everything. Refrigerate 2 days - YES I SAID 2 DAYS.
  • Step 4
    Enjoy on pizza, sausage, beef or pork sandwiches or anything your heart desires.
