Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds tomatillos husked, washed, top part cut off and discarded then halved
  • 1 medium white onion quartered
  • 3 serrano chilies seeded and halved
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt

How To Make fresh salsa verde

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in food processor and process until desired consistency. Taste and adjust for seasoning.
