- 1 1/2 pounds tomatillos husked, washed, top part cut off and discarded then halved
- 1 medium white onion quartered
- 3 serrano chilies seeded and halved
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 cup cilantro
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt

Step 1Place all ingredients in food processor and process until desired consistency. Taste and adjust for seasoning.
