I bought some "fresh" marked down salsa and it tasted like it went bad. Still craving it, I threw these ingredients in a food processor and it tasted delicious!

Tastes a lot like the sweet onion salsa that I buy at the store.

Ingredients

  • 4
    roma tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped green onions
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    chopped sweet onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    jalapeno peppers from jar, with juice
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    cilantro, dried
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar

How to Make Fresh Quick Salsa

Step-by-Step

  1. Chop tomatoes and put along with remaining ingredients into food processor. Pulse until desired chunkiness.
  2. *amounts of ingredients are approximate, as I literally dumped them into the processor.
