I've been making salsa every week for the last few months, today I think I've perfected it!

Ingredients

  • 3 - on-the-vine tomatoes
  • 1 - jalapeno peppers (i leave just a few seeds in)
  • 1 - tomatillos, fresh
  • 1 - serrano chiles
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 - red bell pepper
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • - juice of one lime
  • 1/4 - medium yellow onion
  • 2 - garliccloves

How To Make fresh homemade salsa

  • Step 1
    Quarter tomatoes, peppers, and tomatillo. Depending on your taste, remove some or all of the ribs and seeds from jalepeno and serrano peppers.
  • Step 2
    Process all ingredients except onion in food processor, until slightly chunky.
  • Step 3
    Add onion, and pulse 2-3 times. Pour into canning jars and refrigerate, or enjoy right away!
