I've been making salsa every week for the last few months, today I think I've perfected it!

Add to Grocery List

on-the-vine tomatoes
jalapeno peppers (i leave just a few seeds in)
tomatillos, fresh
serrano chiles
1/4 c
chopped fresh cilantro
red bell pepper
salt and pepper, to taste
juice of one lime
medium yellow onion

How to Make Fresh Homemade Salsa


  • 1Quarter tomatoes, peppers, and tomatillo. Depending on your taste, remove some or all of the ribs and seeds from jalepeno and serrano peppers.
  • 2Process all ingredients except onion in food processor, until slightly chunky.
  • 3Add onion, and pulse 2-3 times. Pour into canning jars and refrigerate, or enjoy right away!
