I've been making salsa every week for the last few months, today I think I've perfected it!

    on-the-vine tomatoes
  • 1
    jalapeno peppers (i leave just a few seeds in)
  • 1
    tomatillos, fresh
  • 1
    serrano chiles
  • 1/4 c
    chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4
    red bell pepper
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • ·
    juice of one lime
  • 1/4
    medium yellow onion
  • 2

How to Make Fresh Homemade Salsa


  1. Quarter tomatoes, peppers, and tomatillo. Depending on your taste, remove some or all of the ribs and seeds from jalepeno and serrano peppers.
  2. Process all ingredients except onion in food processor, until slightly chunky.
  3. Add onion, and pulse 2-3 times. Pour into canning jars and refrigerate, or enjoy right away!
