A garden summer time favorite as I always have too much cilantro growing! I use this on grilled shrimp, chicken, steaks,as a marinade and even on eggs.
It's versatile and good for you.
Can use as a tappenade as well...

3 c
fresh cilantro
1/2 c
pistachio,pinon or pumpkin seeds raw is best
cloves garlic
1/4 c
olive oil, extra virgin
juice of 1 lemon or lime
2 pinch
sea salt
finely diced jalapeno
1/2 c
parmigiano-reggiano, grated or feta cheese

How to Make Cilantro Pesto


  • 1Blend all ingredients in food processor until mixed well.Let stand for 1 hour in refrigerator before using. can be used immediately for a marinade.
