A garden summer time favorite as I always have too much cilantro growing! I use this on grilled shrimp, chicken, steaks,as a marinade and even on eggs.
It's versatile and good for you.
Can use as a tappenade as well...

Food Processor


Add to Grocery List

  • 3 c
    fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 c
    pistachio,pinon or pumpkin seeds raw is best
  • 2-3
    cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1
    juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • 2 pinch
    sea salt
  • 1
    finely diced jalapeno
  • 1/2 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated or feta cheese

How to Make Cilantro Pesto


  1. Blend all ingredients in food processor until mixed well.Let stand for 1 hour in refrigerator before using. can be used immediately for a marinade.
