Ingredients For chunky salsa

2 Tbspolive oil

1 ccoarsely chopped onion

1 ccoarsely diced green bell pepper

35 oztomato - drained - coarsely chopped

1/2 cof the reserved tomato juice

1 Tbsplime juice
-
2 tsptabasco sauce
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2 Tbspchopped cilantro
How To Make chunky salsa

1Heat oil in large saucepan over high heat

2Add onion and bell pepper
-
3Saute 5-6 min stirring frequently until tender
-
4Add tomatoes and juice
-
5Bring to a boil over high heat
-
6Reduce heat to low and simmer 6-8 minutes - stirring occasionally until salsa is slightly thickened

7Remove from heat
-
8Stir in lime juice and tabasco to taste
-
9Add salt
-
10Cool to luke warm
-
11Stir in cilantro
