Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 1 cup coarsely diced green bell pepper
- 35 ounces tomato - drained - coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup of the reserved tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons tabasco sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
How To Make chunky salsa

Step 1Heat oil in large saucepan over high heat

Step 2Add onion and bell pepper

Step 3Saute 5-6 min stirring frequently until tender

Step 4Add tomatoes and juice

Step 5Bring to a boil over high heat

Step 6Reduce heat to low and simmer 6-8 minutes - stirring occasionally until salsa is slightly thickened

Step 7Remove from heat

Step 8Stir in lime juice and tabasco to taste

Step 9Add salt

Step 10Cool to luke warm

Step 11Stir in cilantro
