There once was a wonderful Chinese restaurant near where I live that had fabulous food. One of my personal favorites was their Hot Sauce. I know...Mexican food in a Chinese restaurant...but it was wonderful! The BEST hot sauce ever...

Ingredients
- 1 can chopped tomatoes, 27 oz
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 - jalapeno, fresh, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 cup sugar...can add a bit more if you like
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 cup vegetable oil
- dash garlic powder to taste
How To Make canton hot sauce

Step 1Put half the tomatoes, jalapeno and vegetable oil in the bowl of a food processor and process until it is as chunky or smooth as you like.

Step 2Remove from processor and put in a large bowl. Add all other ingredients and the rest of the tomatoes. Combine thoroughly. Refrigerate.

Step 3You can add other ingredients to your taste, such as onion or cilantro.
