Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
- 2 cups (1/4 inch) diced cantaloupe melon, from a 2 1/4 lb piece
- 1/4 cup (1/4 inch) diced vidalia or red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or basil
- 1 - (2 inch long) hot red or green chile, minced*
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make cantaloupe salsa

Step 1Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.

Step 2* Remove the seeds of the chile if you want to lessen the heat.
