Pork Bbq dry rub

Was looking for a good dry rub and made this on accident. It has a nice Smokey flavor and not as sweet as other rubs. Works very well on the Boston butt roasts. This recipe covered an almost 8 lb Boston roast and had some left over to use another time.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp
    a.1. bold original dry rub
  • 1/4 c
    kosher salt
  • 1/4 c
    light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    regular or smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder

How to Make Pork Bbq dry rub

  1. Mix together well and store in an airtight container. Use as desired.
