poppa's pork rub

The hubby and I just spent a week at my parent's house in NC. One of the amazing meals we had was a pork chop with this rub my dad made...so I asked for the recipe. It is amazingly simple, and really really really (You get the point) good!

Ingredients For poppa's pork rub

  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    curry powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cumin

How To Make poppa's pork rub

  • 1
    Mix this all together well. This rub goes on both sides of pork chops. We had 4 pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick. Grill.
