I love this stuff served over fried cabbage and onions. (I opted for "chicken" under categories as JAP does not have a broth option)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    vegetable ol
  • 1 medium
    onion, minced
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1 c
    irish whiskey
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp
    ketchup
  • 1
    juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 c
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 c
    condensed chicken broth

How to Make Irish Honey Whiskey Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Boil down to half, check consistency and boil down a bit more if needed.
  3. Serve over meat, potatoes or vegetable hash.
