red pepper flakes, crushed

olive oil, extra virgin
3/4 lb
prosciutto, chopped
1 large
garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp
fresh parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp
fresh basil, chopped
salt ans pepper to taste
28 oz
tomatoes, with juice
16 oz
tomato sauce
8 oz
1 c
heavy cream


1In a small bowl, combine vodka and red pepper flakes. Set aside for 1 hour.
2Chop prosciutto.
3Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute prosciutto, garlic, parsley, basil, salt and pepper until prosciutto is evenly brown.
4Pour in vodka mixture, and simmer 10 minutes.
5Crush tomatoes.
6Stir in tomato sauce, and water. Simmer 15 minutes.
7Stir in 1 cup heavy cream, and cook 2 minutes.
