Ingredients
- 1 cup vodka
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 3/4 pound prosciutto, chopped
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- - salt ans pepper to taste
- 28 ounces tomatoes, with juice
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 8 ounces water
- 1 cup heavy cream
How To Make vodka sauce

Step 1In a small bowl, combine vodka and red pepper flakes. Set aside for 1 hour.

Step 2Chop prosciutto.

Step 3Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute prosciutto, garlic, parsley, basil, salt and pepper until prosciutto is evenly brown.

Step 4Pour in vodka mixture, and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 5Crush tomatoes.

Step 6Stir in tomato sauce, and water. Simmer 15 minutes.

Step 7Stir in 1 cup heavy cream, and cook 2 minutes.
