This is the sauce I serve with my chicken souvlaki. It is also good on just about anything else you want to eat it on!

16 oz
sour cream
16 oz
plain yogurt
1 to 2 Tbsp
fresh chopped garlic, depending on preference
1/2 to 1 tsp
salt, depending on preference
1/2 to 1 tsp
white pepper, depending on preference
1/2 to 1 tsp
white vinegar, depending on preference

How to Make Tsatziki Sauce


  • 1Peel the cucumbers. Grate using a hand-held grater. Drain well. Use your hands to squeeze out the excess juice. Combine drained cucumbers with sour cream, yogurt, and seasonings. Mix well. Mixture should be thick.
  • 2Refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Adjust seasonings to taste. **Remember** garlic gets more potent the longer it sits, so take that into consideration before adding more.
