    olive oil
  • 1 large
    yellow onions, diced
  • 3
    carrots, diced
  • 5 oz
    pancetta, diced
  • 1 can(s)
    italian crushed tomatos (28 oz)
  • ·
  • 1 tsp
    crushed red pepper

How to Make Tomato Sauce

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots and pancetta and cook until onions are translucent (about 10 minutes).
  2. Add tomatoes, generously season with salt and add crushed red pepper. Mix well, lower heat to simmer and cover. Sauce will begin to cook down.
  3. Continue cooking until sauce gets to your prefered consistancy (Approx 45 min to 1 hour). Stir often so as not to burn on the bottom. Also taste to ensure that sauce has proper seasoning.
  4. Serve with your favorite pasta and parmigiano reggiano.
