My Daddy, whose nickname was Thunder from his days as a defensive end at LSU, was a wonderful cook. This is the mushroom sauce he served every time he grilled steaks, which was quite often.

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 - green onions, chopped fine
- 1 clove chopped garlic
- 1/2 - lemon, juice only
- 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- Dash - tabasco sauce
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 fluid jigger dry sherry
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make thunder's famous steak sauce

Step 1Melt the butter in a skillet and add the onions and garlic. Saute a few minutes and add remaining ingredients until the veggies have softened. Spoon over grilled steak. Delicious!
