Found this recipe in a old cookbook. We always make this when we make our Americanized Egg Rolls.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (dissolved in 1/4 cup water)
- 1/2 - bell pepper, sliced and diced
- 2 tablespoons pineapple chunks or crushed
How To Make sweet & sour sauce

Step 1Combine first four ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Step 2Pour water into coffeecup, then stir in cornstarch. Take out about a cup of the sauce from the pan, stir, into cornstarch and water mixture, stirring well. Then stir this back into the pan of sauce to thicken.

Step 3Note: recipe can be doubled and tripled. Serve with egg rolls.
