This recipie was given to me by the "chef" in a resturant on Guam, Marianas Islands...well he told me what he put into the sauce and I down sized to make it work for a family. I was working there which is why he gave me the recipe.
red wine vinegar
lemon to taste
soy sauce to taste
How To Make
Mix water, sugar, ketchup, & vinegar in medium saucepan. Add lemon & soy sauce. Bring to a boil stirring occasionaly.
Mix the 1/2 cup water with the corn starch and add to the boiling mixture. Result will be creamy looking. Stir until your sauce becomes translucent.
