red sweet peppers, diced
green sweet peppers, diced
yellow sweet peppers, diced
1/4 c
butter, clarified
12 oz
jar of sun-dried tomatoes
tomatoes, peeled and diced
46 oz
can tomato juice
1/4 c
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
ground oregano
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
hot sauce of your choice
1 Tbsp
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Sun-Dried Tomato Marinara


  • 1In a large skillet cook the peppers in clarified butter until translucent.
  • 2Add the sun-dried tomatoes and their juice, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 3Set aside, then in a saucepan over low heat combine the remaining ingredients.
  • 4Bring the mixture to a boil, redcue the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 5Add the peppers and simmer to the desired temperature.
