  • 2 lb
    sausage (jimmy dean hot is preferred)
  • 2 large
    onion, chopped
  • 2
    green pepper, chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    tomato, diced, with juice (14 1/2 oz each)
  • 1 lb
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 lb
    pepperoni, sliced thick and cubed
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic, minced
  • 128 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp
  • 3 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    oregano leaves
  • 3 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2
    bay leaves

How to Make Steve's Spaghetti Sauce


  1. 1. Put a little olive oil in pan. Brown sausage over med heat. Add onion and green pepper, simmer 5 minutes until tender. Add diced tomatoes and mushrooms. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add pepperoni and garlic, simmer 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce and spices. Turn down to low, simmer 30-60 minutes until desired thickness, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti noodles with a little parmesan cheese.
