Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons coriander seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 1 - green cardamon pod
  • 1 - 1 inch piece of cinnamon stick

How To Make spice rub

  • Step 1
    combine all ingredients in small,dry saute pan.Toast over medium heat,shaking pan,about 1 minute or until fragrant.
  • Step 2
    Remove mixture from heat and spread on large plate to cool.Remove cardamom pod and chop.Transfer all ingredients to spice grinder or coffee grinder used only for spices.Grind to cornmeal consistency.Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
