This was my mothers recipe. You can even use this sauce for lasagna too. And if you feel the sauce has to much acidity you can add a pinch of sugar to help neutralize the acid in the sauce plus the sugar brings out the flavor.

Ingredients
- 2 cans hunt's diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
- 1 can hunt's tomato sauce small can
- 1 can hunt's tomato paste small can
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 1 - shallot or 1 medium red onion
- 1 - 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 pound ground chuck
- 1/2 pound sweet italian sausage
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon mccormick italian seasoning
- 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon california ranch olive oil
How To Make spaghetti sauce

Step 1Dice shallot or onion, pepper, mince garlic.

Step 2Cook ground chuck, sausage together till done and grease is clear and no longer pink. Drain grease.

Step 3Put meat mixture back on stove to that add shallot or onion, pepper cook till translucent, add garlic last as to not burn the garlic. Add tomatoes, sauce, paste, italian seasoning, and olive oil. Simmer on low heat for about an hour stirring occasionally.
